Hello World!

My very first post on my new photography blog! Yay! My husband said that I need to be less "irreverent" with this blog. So here it is, the toned down version. I guess I won't be asking for socks or Twinkies on this blog. Supposedly, one doesn't need to know these things about their photographer. So...I promise to keep this blog a little less personal. But just a little!

I had the opportunity to photograph Kate and Harold. They were so much fun. I just love photographing engagement sessions. It's so nice to have a chance to get to know my couples before their wedding day. I also get a chance to play a bit with their images. I've been experimenting with textures and tones. Of course, I think they are fantastic. I try to keep the textures to a minimum because I know not everyone is a fan.
